- WHAT = DORA stands for Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area
- WHEN = 10 am - Midnight, Monday - Sunday (starting June 1, 2022!)
- WHERE = Summit Park, 4335 Glendale Milford Rd., and surrounding retail establishments (map)
- WHY = to help achieve the City of Blue Ash’s goal of a fun, “Alive after 5” atmosphere and to incentivize more businesses and restaurants to locate in the area
DORA HOW TO:
Purchase a drink in a designated DORA (recyclable!) cup from a participating establishment and walk around with it in Summit Park and certain retail establishments!
LOOK FOR THESE DECALS:
Each business in the DORA will display one of the following decals.
|SOLD HERE (blue)
Indicates a designated DORA alcohol-serving establishment.
|BEVERAGES WELCOME (green)
Indicates an establishment that permits DORA beverages to enter.
|PLEASE NO BEVERAGES (yellow)
Indicates NO DORA beverages are permitted on the premises.
(Participating businesses are subject to change. Map reflects "Sold Here" businesses with blue icons and "Beverages Welcome" businesses with green icons as of 6/1/2022.)
Do buy DORA beverages at DORA “SOLD HERE” locations.
Do take your DORA drink into “BEVERAGES WELCOME” establishments.
Do drink responsibly. All the rules about public intoxication, indecency, noise, and driving while impaired still apply!
Do throw your (recyclable!) DORA cup in a recycling bin.
Do recycle your DORA cup before entering another “SOLD HERE” establishment, when you are approaching a DORA boundary sign, or when your cup is empty.
Do have fun!
Don’t refill your DORA cup. Each cup is single-use and recyclable!
Don’t bring your own cup, cooler, or alcohol. No hidden flasks and no purses that dispense wine (yes, that is a thing).
Don’t take your DORA cup from one “SOLD HERE” establishment into another “SOLD HERE” establishment.
Don’t take your DORA cup into a “PLEASE NO BEVERAGES” establishment
Don’t take your drink outside of the DORA boundaries.
Don’t litter. In case you haven’t noticed, the DORA cups are recyclable! There will be plenty of designated recycling bins for you to use.
Don’t forget you are in a public park. Keep it civilized.
THANK YOU FOR VISITING THE BLUE ASH DORA AT SUMMIT PARK!
